22 items of researches have been finished on the functional food and food engineering, and 9 items are being carried out.
Areas of research interest include fatty acids and cardiovascular disease, functional and health protecting food, extraction of functional components and relationship between structure and function of health protection in nature food, trace elements’ nutrition and their speciation, Nanofood and its safety.

professor of Nanchang Life Science Academy, the director of master student, the young and middle-aged backbone teacher of Jiangxi province colleges and universities. In 1985 graduated from the Department of Biology of Jiangxi University and took part in advanced study of the postgraduate course for the young and middle-aged of Nanchang University teacher in 1995. In 2004 went to Xiamen University as a visiting scholar to study the biochemistry and molecular biology. Since 2006 studying for

doctorate degree program in the Food Science, mainly engaged in investigation and discussion on nutrition and disease relation at molecular biology level. Win the third prize of Jiangxi province teaching achievement and the gold of the FangDa Education Fund of Nanchang University. Participated in the scientific research item more than 10 and win the third prize of Jiangxi province scientific and technological progress award. Published more than 20 academic papers, edited 3 books
